Specialized
The Specialized Collection is
comprised of individual programs within specific treatment
categories. These have a broad range of uses from preparation
training to augmenting the Classic Kit and in some situations
Level One.
There are a number of different Specialized options
that may be incorporated into a listener’s program.

Speech and Language
Speech and Language offers auditory skill training
in all sound frequencies with an emphasis in the mid-higher
sound frequencies primarily related with memory, attention,
vocal control, speech, language and more.
Speech and Language is currently available on individual
compact disc. There are three 60-minute CDs.

Speech
and Language Classic
Speech and Language Classic has been produced
to be played through headphones.
Beautiful Classical recordings of Mozart, Vivaldi,
Corelli, Salieri, Telemann, Tartini and Lawrence
are expertly arranged with ABT’s innovative
psychoacoustic
modifications to refine training of the auditory
processing skills in the mid-high sound frequencies.
This CD is not part of the Classic Kit.
Speech
and Language Kids
There are two Speech and Language Kids CDs. One
has been produced to be played through headphones
and incorporates Dolby
Headphone® technology.
The other is produced to be played through stereo
speakers.
Delightful recordings of early Mozart, simplified
Classical pieces with familiar instrumental versions
of nursery rhymes and folk music are expertly
arranged with ABT’s innovative psychoacoustic
modifications to train the foundational skills
of auditory processing skills in the mid-high
sound frequencies.
Speech and Language Kids contains musical selections
that were recorded because they were fun, simple
in structure, have short phrasing, and are very
accessible. This program design means that a listener's
attention, in particular a child, can more easily
be captured and maintained. Speech and Language
Kids has a significant focus on spatial awareness
and sound localization.
